Something in the Air

As a strong advocate for healthy marriages and families, I am feeling invigorated and encouraged. There’s something in the air — something refreshing that’s been missing for a while.

In the midst of frigid winter blasts, sweet comforting breezes blew through my neighbourhood at noon Eastern on January 20th, 2025.

Ever since then, I’m finding myself breathing deep sighs of relief.  Other times I’m intermittently giddy.

I’m hoping this is more than a brief respite.

So, what suddenly changed?

On a larger scale …

• Chaos seems to be giving way to Order.
• Government tyranny is giving way to restoration of personal freedoms.
• Hatred for the nation is giving way to love of country.
• Ineptitude has given way to strong visionary leadership.
• Medical tyranny is giving way to empirical science.
• DEI hiring discrimination is giving way to merit-based employment.
• Race-baiting is giving way to the beautiful human race.
• Government-mandated censorship has given way to constitutional freedom of speech.
• Border invasions are giving way to law and order.
• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion have been crushed like an unwanted cockroach by sanity and common sense.
• Corruption and consistent lying have given way to truth and integrity.
• Dense oppressive darkness has given way to “the rocket’s red glare”.
• Despair has given way to Hope.
  
  

Directly affecting the family …

• Medical and academic child abuse have given way to restoring parental rights.
• Celebrating sexual deviancy has given way to healthy legitimate relationships.
• Endangering girls and women have given way to safe spaces and gender-specific sports.
• Big Food and Big Pharma will be giving way to healthier lifestyles.
• Gender insanity has given way to created immutable truth.
• Welcoming criminals and unvetted immigrants will give way to safer family neighbourhoods.
• Indoctrinating schools that push Woke values are giving way to parental school choice.
• Disposable babies are giving way to precious in His sight.
• Toxic masculinity is giving way to strong and salient male leadership.

In a nutshell: Chaos has given way to order.  Despair has given way to hope.

I am both thankful and amazed that sweet evening breezes — breaths of fresh air, can overwhelm cold winter blasts.
