American babies are leaping for joy in their mother’s wombs today, after the US Supreme Court brought to an abrupt end what the ADF calls “the disastrous and deadly Roe v. Wade” decision. (Jurisdiction for laws impacting abortion has been sent back to the individual states to regulate.)
Frankly, I’m feeling a little dazed. I didn’t expect to hear this news within my lifetime.
In 1973, the (Supreme) Court invented a right to abortion that isn’t in the text or history of the (US) Constitution. Today, the Court reversed that deadly error. We rejoice and thank God for this truly life-saving decision!”

As we continue to mourn the brutal, uncivilised and unnecessary murder of 63 million American babies over the past 50 years, and recognise the devastating ongoing emotional and psychological consequences of abortion on those babies’ mothers, please join me in celebrating the millions of precious baby boys and girls who will be saved as a result of this historic day.
Legal solutions to moral problems are usually temporary, and seldom get to the root problem — the depravity of the human heart. But when courts occasionally get it right, and judgements line up with God’s word … well, life in this corner of creation gets better for a while.
In the meantime, let’s get busy redoubling our efforts to support all these new mums, dads and beautiful babies!
